About the Founder
Denisse Rojas Maldonado, Founder
Denisse Rojas Maldonado holds a Master of Arts in Globalization Studies from Dartmouth College, where her thesis research on AI governance and the global race for technological leadership earned the 2026 Byam Shaw-Brownstone Thesis Excellence Award. That work shaped the conviction behind Global Bridge Advisory: the institutions most affected by AI policy are often the least equipped to navigate it.
Her studies at the University of Oxford in history, politics, and global crisis, together with a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Conflict Resolution from Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Madrid and a year studying American politics at Washington College, built a perspective that spans international frameworks and the local institutions where they land, the bridge her firm is named for.
That span defines her career. At the United Nations Development Programme in Honduras, she supported governance and peacebuilding programs reaching hundreds of local leaders. At the CDC Foundation, she conducted policy research and reviewed grant-funded community programs across the United States.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Denisse founded Global Bridge Advisory to bring international standards within reach of the nonprofits, local governments, and civic institutions doing essential work in their communities.
